Meet the Saddle & Sirloin Staff
To support the Saddle & Sirloin Club and it's illustrious members, we employ a staff of around 30, who keep the property and grounds in pristine condition. Our staff works with the members to create the ideal member experience and Club in Kansas City.
Sara Carvalho, Business and Operations Manager
- Sara joined the Saddle & Sirloin Staff in 2005 and provides a high level of service and sophistication to the membership. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration. She enjoys working with people, members and staff, who are always willing to give of their time for the betterment of the Club. In addition to her work at the Club, she also teaches accounting and business at a local university and community college.

Nathan Havercroft, Executive Chef
- The Saddle & Sirloin Club is proud to have Executive Chef Nathan Havercroft lead our catering and banquet team. Chef Nathan brings a wide range of private club experience with him as well as extensive training in pastry arts. He has won several awards, including some on the national level, for his culinary skills and is widely respected within the Kansas City culinary community. He brings a high level of sophistication to each menu he creates. We invite you to experience the distinctive culinary difference brought to you by Chef Nathan and the Saddle & Sirloin Club.

Mark Beeler, Equine Manager
- Mark joined the Saddle & Sirloin staff in 2000 after having established himself as a well-known trainer and winner of local, regional and national titles in all breeds and disciplines. His students in western pleasure, hunt seat, showmanship and halter have also brought home many local, regional and national winning ribbons. He teaches riders of all skill levels for trail riding and the show ring. Mark's enthusiastic attitude, friendly smile and passion for horses has encourage many to become the best horsemen they can be and to enjoy their horse by being hands on and involved in their care.

Mike Foley, Barn Manager
- Mike has been involved with, and dedicated to the care and health of horses for the past forty years. His experience began with taking lessons and showing at age 15, and has included three years working on what is now the Last Dollar Ranch in Ridgway Colorado and two years on an Arabian breeding farm. His two year stint guiding for an outfitter provided skill sets for most situations that are encountered with the use of horses. Mike enjoys helping people almost as much as horses, and has been doing so at our facility since 2001.
